Elasticity: Refers to fibres with the ability to recover from tension or stretch.

Embossing: Is a surface effect achieved by applying engraved rollers to the surface of of fabric.

End-and-End: Is a fabric with two colour alternating in the warp.

Enzyme: A catalytic substance secreted by living organisms which bring about a chemical change.
