K

Khaki: Is a colour based around yellow, beige, brown and occasionally green earth tones. It is a very strong cloth made of cotton, linen or worsted yarns first used by the British Army during the Crimean War 1853. It has been developed into a casual wear fabric now for modern day fashions.

Knitting Warp: This process centres around how the yarn is thread into the needle as the machine is built to perform the knitting function on all needles. Yarn is thread through a frame similar to an ordinary harness used in the weaving loom. This bar then moves the yarn to the right and left of the needle in front and behind the needle during each completed knitting cycle.
