Oiled Silk: A thin, transparent silk fabric which is soaked in boiled linseed oil and dried. This in turn makes the fabric waterproof.

Open End Spinning: This method of preparing yarn is done so by blowing fibres into a compact rapidly spinning turbine which has a stationary cylinder in the centre.

Organza: This woven silk fabric is stiff and very thin. It is plain woven and today made of almost any fibre.

Outing Flannel: Soft &Lightweight, plain or twill weave cotton fabric napped on both sides.

Oxford: This design is made on a small repeat of basket weaves. The same term can be applied to suiting fabrics and means a woollen or worsted fabric which has a greyish cast made from a combination of black and white yarns.
